Dr. Daniel N. Richmond

Dr. Daniel is an orthodontist based in London, Ontario, proud to serve the North London community he grew up in. His approach to orthodontic care is rooted in delivering personalized, high-quality treatment designed to improve both function and confidence.

His research during residency on the Medical Necessity of Orthodontic Care and experience in NYC treating patients with craniofacial differences continue to shape his treatment philosophy. He believes orthodontics goes beyond dental health and aesthetics—it can improve function, confidence, and long-term quality of life.

He offers treatment with braces and Invisalign, focusing on results that are natural, balanced, and tailored to each patient.

Outside of the office, Dr. Daniel enjoys traveling, staying active, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

    Dental School

    McGill Unversity (2015-19)

    Dr. Daniel completed his dental training at McGill University, graduating first in his class and receiving the gold medal. This foundation shaped his early interest in orthodontics and evidence-based care.

    Pediatric Experience

    Dr. Jeff’s Office (2019-20)

    Following dental school, Dr. Daniel gained hands-on experience in pediatric dentistry in London, working alongside his father, Dr. Jeff Richmond. This experience provided a strong foundation in early dental development and patient-centered care.

    Orthodontic Residency

    University of Toronto (2020-23)

    Dr. Daniel completed his orthodontic specialty training at the University of Toronto. During residency, he conducted research on the Medical Necessity of Orthodontic Care and developed Ortho Calculator, a digital tool designed to support objective, math-based treatment planning.

    Craniofacial Fellowship

    New York University (2023-24)

    Dr. Daniel completed a craniofacial fellowship at NYU, treating patients with complex facial differences. His work included both clinical research and published insights on craniofacial orthodontic care, further refining his approach to complex treatment planning.
